ABOUT US

Success at Work is a nonprofit community-based organization that has served the community since October 2014. The organization was founded, and it is supervised by a Licensed, Certified, and Specialist’s Level Teacher of Special Education who has worked for 40 years as an educator and 18 of those years entirely as a resource for parents and students with disabilities. She is also the mother of a successful adult who is Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Currently, we provide services to individuals ages 22 or older with developmental disabilities through Agency for People with Disabilities (APD), Long term Care (LTC) and private clients.

Day Habilitation Services

Therapeutic Programs

Supported Decision-Making

For individuals who may struggle with decision-making, supported decision-making programs help ensure they have the support they need to make informed choices in areas like healthcare, finances, and living arrangements.

Social and Recreational Services

Social Clubs and Peer Support Groups: These provide opportunities for adults with special needs to engage with peers and develop friendships, combatting isolation. Recreation and Leisure Activities: Events such as outings, movie nights, or sports leagues are organized to promote active participation in the community and help individuals build social skills.

Legal Aid and Advocacy

Ensures individuals with disabilities are aware of their rights and can advocate for themselves. This may include help with guardianship, navigating government programs, or disability benefits.
